This application was developed by 2 persons who make the history in communication technology. Their names are Jan Koum and Brain Acton. They work 2 years together with yahoo and then develop this application for communication purpose.

In 2014 the facebook owner (Mark Zuckerberg) purchase it on 16 million $, and use it separately as messaging application. Whatsapp is a messaging application that is used to send text, audio and video messages through internet. It is a free multi functional platform that allow us to communicate with more options as mentioned above. As it works through internet so its cost is very low then any mobile texting messages.

Whatssapp have over 2 Billion users at the moment and it is increasing day by day.
